The Prophet Elijah - Did you know?

The prophet Elijah is of the major figures in the Bible. I would like to share some interesting things about Elijah that you may not be aware of. At the very least, the information should be thought provoking.

In Hebrew the name Elijah or Eliyah is word number 452 from the Enhanced Strong's Lexicon. Word 452 is derived from 410 which is EL (God- the same name that Jesus cried out to in Aramaic from the Cross ) and word number 3050 Yah or Yahh (a deity)which is translated at"LORD" and "JAH". The name Elijah is a combination of both God and LORD.

Great Bible Mystery - JOB 40,15

The first great mystery of the Book of JOB is how it was ever included in the Bible. It was written a thousand years or more before the first book of the Bible. The Book of Job does not promote any specific religious doctrine by name or laws and yet it contains an all star cast of characters. The LORD, Satan, several Gods, The Almighty, Elihu (means - He is my God) and JOB Himself.

At the end of the Book of JOB the LORD comes and speaks with JOB. There are statements and questions in the LORD's dissertation that are quite revealing about JOB's identity, and the LORD's.
