The Highest of All - A Verse From ECCLESIASTES

Trying to be positive and faithful in a fast paced, stress ridden world is difficult. God knows! I found this Bible verse in Ecclesiastes some time back. Quite often I need to remind myself who is ultimately in charge.

Here is the verse.

Ecclesiastes 5:8 - If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.

In today's world we see all types of injustice, abuse of power and unwarranted oppression. What this Bible verse says to me is that the Highest of All sees... and cares. He will not allow this to continue indefinitely, and when He decides that enough is enough the change will be both swift, and permanent. . I also believe that GOD wants people to be fed up with the way the system works and want to change it for the better.

The good news is that no matter how powerful the forces here on earth are they don't compare to the ONE who is Highest of all.
