Bible Mystery - Was Job the First Man?

February 20, 2010 0 Comments

The Book of Job is highly scientific and loaded with mysteries and clues. The Book of Job is some 1000 or more more older than the Book of Genesis. At the opening of Job's story it says that He was the greatest man in all the East (East-eternity). There are questions in Job and mind-boggling prophecies. The verse from the title is shown below.

Job 15,7

Art thou the class first man that was born? or wast thou made before the hills?

After many hours of studying scriptures with the assist of Bible software I am convinced that there is a lot more to this book than a religious doctrine. Job predates Judaism and many other religions. Interestingly, the LORD, the Almighty and numerous Gods (all from One) are also in the Book of Job. Yet the verses in Job promote no specific religious doctrine.

When you search the words 'first man' in Bible software these two words are actually four words. This is very unusual in the Old Testament. So was Job the first man ever? My opinion, yes. Why do I think so? Because when the LORD showed up at the end of Job the same question was asked by Him in different words. I don't think that it was a question... it was a statement!

As for the Book of Job, was it a book about a man 3000 or 4000 years ago? Possibly, but there are many verses that coincide with latter day prophecies. Could Job be on the earth right now? Yes. Many of the other questions in Job describe unique circumstances and physical aliments or irregularities. Maybe the reason for all of the questions in Job is to let Job exactly who he is.

All this may seem far fetched... But is that for you, or for God. Personally, I'd be pretty impressed that God could send messages like these 3000 years before a persons birth knowing full well that the person would find it with the help of Bible software all those years later.

Remember, the Book of Job predates the Old Testament and Torah. Could God really see that far into the future? Was it a message to Job...or to Himself? Ah, and the plot thickens.
